Multifunctional operation of the double-layer ferromagnetic structure coupled by a rectangular nanoresonator

The use of spin waves as a signal carrier requires developing the functional elements allowing for multiplexing and demultiplexing information coded at different wavelengths. For this purpose, we propose system thin ferromagnetic layers dynamically coupled by rectangular resonator. We show that single double, clockwise counterclockwise, circulating modes resonator offer wide possibility control propagating waves. Particularly, frequency related to double-clockwise spin-wave mode resonator, wave excited in one layer is transferred second where it propagates backward direction. Interestingly, forward direction only layer. This demonstrates add-drop filtering circulator functionality. Thus, proposed can become an important part future magnonic technology routing.
